Professor Fox is an AI teaching assistant built by Dasomlre for school teachers in Kerala, India (classes 1–10, SCERT syllabus). This page describes the app's purpose, its features, and exactly which Google account fields we request when a teacher chooses to sign in with Google.
1. What Professor Fox does
Professor Fox is a web application that helps school teachers prepare classroom material faster using AI. Teachers describe what they want — a lesson plan, a worksheet, a slide deck, a parent message — and the app generates an editable, classroom-ready resource grounded in the SCERT Kerala syllabus and the teacher's chosen language (English or Malayalam).
- AI lesson plan generator — daily and unit plans for LP, UP, and high school classes.
- AI teaching manual generator — chapter-wise teaching manuals aligned to the Kerala syllabus.
- AI worksheet generator — printable worksheets, activity sheets, and class assignments.
- AI question paper generator — section-wise question papers with marks distribution.
- AI PPT generator — classroom-ready slide decks for any chapter or topic.
- AI parent messages — short, polite messages to send to parents over WhatsApp or print.
- Doubt solver — answers to student doubts in plain language with worked steps.
- Quizzes and flashcards — quick recap quizzes generated from a chapter or set of notes.
- Reusable resource library — teachers reuse and share what they have already created.
2. Who Professor Fox is for
Professor Fox is built for the people teaching the SCERT Kerala syllabus from class 1 to class 10:

- Headmasters, teacher trainers, and BRC/CRC staff who support classroom teachers.
3. Sign in with Google — what we access and why
Teachers can create an account using email + password or by signing in with Google. When a teacher chooses Sign in with Google, the only OAuth scopes Professor Fox requests are openid, userinfo.email, and userinfo.profile. We use this information solely to create and authenticate the teacher's Professor Fox account and to show their name and profile picture inside the app.
- Data we receive from Google: full name, email address, profile picture URL, and Google account ID.
- We do NOT request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, Photos, or any other Google service.
- We do NOT use Google user data for advertising or profiling.
- We do NOT use Google user data to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI / ML model.
- Google sign-in is optional — every feature of Professor Fox is also available to teachers who sign up with email and password.
4. Google API Services — Limited Use
Professor Fox's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The full policy is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Data storage, security, and deletion
Account data, including the Google profile fields above, is stored in a Supabase-managed Postgres database with Row Level Security enabled, so each row is restricted to its owning teacher. Data is encrypted at rest by the database provider and transmitted over TLS 1.2 or higher. Teachers can request account and data deletion at any time from our Data Deletion page; verified deletion requests are completed within 30 days.
